  Microsoft FrontPage

QUESTION:
How do I publish my web site with FrontPage?
ANSWER:
Show Me!
Note: You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view this page. Click here to download.

FrontPage will only publish 'webs' and not individual pages. If you created a web and then built pages inside it you will be able to upload using the program. If not, go to File -> New, create an empty web, and then copy your pages to it. Once your pages have been saved in a FrontPage web within the program you will be ready to publish. Just follow these steps:

Step 1.
Click on FILE and then PUBLISH WEB.

Step 2.
Enter your domain name you wish to publish to (be sure to include http:// in front of it).

Step 3.
Enter your USERNAME and PASSWORD.

If you are using any of the advanced FrontPage features like the hit counter or forms then you must upload using the HTTP (e.g. http://www.mydomain.com) address. If you upload your web site using FTP (e.g. ftp://www.mydomain.com) then the files that support FrontPage in your hosting directory may become corrupt.

If you experience any troubles please consult the FrontPage manual or the Microsoft support site at support.microsoft.com first for troubleshooting.

Zeppole supports both Frontpage 2000 and 2002 at this time on all of our hosting servers.
